Kenneth Michael Hoover is a PhD student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He earned a BA from the University of Iowa and an MA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he taught writing. Before teaching, he worked odd jobs, including film projectionist, pizza delivery driver, and bookseller. He currently works as an editorial assistant for the Walt Whitman Archive and Prairie Schooner.
